    What is it 300m European?

Good question! “European” refers to swimming clockwise (down the left instead of the right); it helps swimmers keep turns in/out on the line, rather than traveling in a big counter-clockwise pattern. I grew up swimming in Canada where every other lane swam the opposite direction and my swimmers nicknamed that “European.”

These new programs are quite different from the usual ones that you have been posting for years. They are way harder…..dont think i can follow the entire program of the day. Unlike others. Btw i am 39 yo and swim regularly for a masters group in Malaysia.

Thanks for posting though. Will attempt.

Joseph, yes, they are much harder! They are not written for the WOTBP swimmers, they are written for my elite age-group team of 11-14 year-olds. I won’t be writing the usual workouts until March or April. You will have to modify these to suit your needs; another option is to pick a year from the blog and print out the weekly workouts; those should be more to your liking. Good luck!
